I’m excited to introduce you to the newly-formed National Food Recovery Association (NFRA), a coalition dedicated to advancing the edible food recovery industry.

The mission of NFRA centers around fostering collaborative, solution-driven initiatives that establish best practices for food recovery and redistribution while promoting the organizations that lead these efforts. Our members represent a wide range of models, from grassroots, hyper-local initiatives to national organizations utilizing sophisticated technology.

By elevating and endorsing the work of our front-line organizations, NFRA aims to make food recovery an integral part of the U.S. food system, advancing food security, environmental sustainability and economic growth. We host monthly meetings via Zoom, have two working groups for deeper-dive work, and have a list-serv to share resources with other members.
